Free Guides Bright Business Thoughts My Book

Every business needs partnerships with others to succeed and mine is no different.

Firstly, I have some cracking clients, all really good businesses run by dynamic and resourceful individuals. I have put links to these in my Happy Clients section and can recommend all of them highly if you are looking for a supplier in these fields.

Below, and in no particular order, are professionals who have been key to my business, or who have done a wonderful job for my clients. I would like to thank them for their help and expertise:

Andrew Stinchcomb - GL Integrity Financial Planning

Andrew is a goal based financial planner, which means that he takes the time to understand your life goals, so he can help you plan to ensure you have the financial resources to achieve these goals. Clearly my business is a key contributor to the picture and so, by aligning my business goals to the personal ones, I have a great road map to work to.

Trevor Lever - Trevor Lever Consulting (TLC)

There is not much about the sales process that Trevor hasn't mastered. His expertise has helped me to refine my 'sales' technique and to match prospective customers needs to the service I can offer. As well as 121 or team training, he also offers some fantastic day courses to business owners, of all levels of sales experience, to help them sell more effectively.

Kate Clarke - Artemis Clarke

In an age when you can apparently find new staff at the touch of a button on your computer, why would you invest your hard earned cash using a recruitment agency? The answer is that a recruiter who knows their stuff will save you time, stress and ultimately money, because recruitment is about matching real people to real roles. Kate is an expert in accounting and finance herself so who better to match your organisation to the right finance person for YOUR business!

Fiona Jones - Grant-Jones Accountancy

I have known Fiona for a long time now and have recently asked her to be my compliance and tax accountant. I am a great believer in delegating anything I am not proficient at and as I don't do tax and compliance myself, am perfectly happy to delegate this work to Fiona. There is no-one better qualified than Fiona to offer fantastic tax planning advise and she is simply lovely to work with.

Jeff Bevan - Website Designer

Jeff has designed and maintains my website. He has a great eye for creating professional websites, which capture the essence of the owner and what they stand for. I feel my website perfectly conveys the business image I wish to portray whilst giving prospective clients a feel of who I am as an individual. Jeff has also helped me to re-design my blog site

Rachael Wheatley - Bluegreen Learning

Rachael provides a virtual marketing director service to those businesses struggling to work out what their marketing strategy should be, but are not big enough to be able to afford, nor need, a full time marketing director. In particular, her straight forward approach helps businesses who offer professional and/or knowledge based services to have a clear picture of the strategies they should employ to reach their ideal clients.

Jayne Doutch – Good Call

Jane and her team are the voice of Bevan Financial Management. They have answered my phone and provided other PA services for several years. They provide a wonderful service. I would not hesitate to recommend Jayne to anyone who wants a professional PA without the cost of employing anyone full time.

Clive-Hall Tomkin - Maxwells Chartered Accountants

Clive does all the accounting bits I don't touch - tax, compliance, audit and company secretarial. He does a great job for clients, because he is interested in them and their business. I know I can rely on Clive to give my clients sound advice to keep them on the straight and narrow (as you would expect from any Chartered accountant), in a way which is fun and interesting (which you expect but don't always get from other Chartered accountants).

Mark Chesham - Moore Stevens

Mark is the VAT expert we all want on our side. His knowledge of UK VAT is second to none, but he is able to explain this complicated 'simple' tax in a way which is understandable and not too boring (sorry Mark, but most of us think the ins and outs of VAT is pretty dull!). He also offers half day VAT review days for anyone who wants an expert to give their VAT systems the once over.

Luan Wise

LinkedIn is a great tool for business people - especially for owner/mangers of SME businesses. But it is often difficult for us to find out how best to use it to reach potential customers and contacts and get the best out of this excellent resource. Luan is a great person to have on your team to help get the best out of any of your social media. She has a raft of tips and hints to share and knows social media like the back of her hand.

Mark Mapstone - Social Media, Wordpress & Publishing

Mark was instrumental in getting my book published as he pointed me in the right direction to get the hardback released into the world! He then worked his magic to publish it in Kindle and ibook formats. The whole process was enjoyable and I am very proud of the results. So, if you have a book in you and want to publish it, I would thoroughly recommend using Mark’s services.

Steve Bloomer - SpringboardIT

Steve has helped my business in a less direct way. He has provided excellent service to key clients of mine by helping them to connect their business information systems. He has saved considerable amounts of time, and reduced frustration levels, by taking away the need for entering information in multiple systems and by automating the production of key reports.

John Beynon - Lightside Financial

Rarely, but unfortunately less so in these recessionary times, a business finds itself in a position where the owner fears that they may need to shut up shop. There is no one better to go to, to discuss options and to help make any outcome as stress-free as possible, than John. It may be that the situation is not so dark as the owner thinks and they have more options than they thought, or it may be that they have reached the end of the road, in which case John will hold their hand throughout the process.
